This is the first in a series of Demesnes I plan to create which will each alter the playing field on both sides. Current plan is that different Demesnes' abilities can coexist, but identical (whether upped or unupped version) Demesnes' abilities will not stack, though both would have to be destroyed for the effect to end.

PEACH! :D

Huh, interesting, very interesting... I actually quite like it ;D
I suppose that if you don't have that quanta, your creatures don't attack. Also, it's cool that the quanta drain happens after the attacks, or this could lead to a massive block (imagine this+malignant cells :-\ )
The only bad thing I see here, is that this helps rainbows too much, while monos get hardly hit by this card :-\ maybe it could drain one quantum from the creature's quanta pool...

Yeah, draining one is what I meant by that. I think the wording is clearer the way you put it. Can you figure out a more succinct way to say "in order for a nonflying creature to attack, it must be able to drain one random Quantum from it's owner's pool?"

add ''must'' before spend.
Good idea.

I really like this card. Totally awesome idea. I'm not sure about balance, but the effect is cool.

I was thinking about simply adding "must" originally, but that almost makes it sound like you have the option not to pay the quanta, and thus not to make attacks, when the idea is that the attacks simply happen, as does the draining, and you may not attack if you have no quanta. All in all, I think the "must" probably was the best answer after all.

How about the casting cost? You guys think it's about right?

The difference between the upped and unupped is incredibly huge. I'd suggest simply a cost decrease and have them both drain only one quantum per attack; the upped one is in my opinion OP as it stands.

How would this work with adrenaline? I imagine it would force quanta drain multiple times.

I'd recommend having creatures simply drain quanta upon attack; if you have no quanta they can still attack. This way it would be more balanced in my opinion.

All in all, I love the idea of the card. Excellent synergy with spiders, Devourers, possibly even Adrenaline.
Don't cry because it's over, smile because it happened.

Thanks for the tips. I actually hadn't considered Adrenaline. That right there makes the upped version too strong, as you mentioned. I'm still not 100% on the drain-only and no lockdown, but I guess if I lowered the cost to 6/5, that'd be about right off the top of my head.

Many times have I seen attempts at this type of a card and I have to say this one is my favourite.

Random capitalization and a standardization of terms could help, but if the art doesn't have to go and Xeno's advice is followed, it's a keeper.

Perfect for :air Air's arsenal.

Updated the OP by changing the casting cost and the effect should now make it clear that your creatures do still attack when you have no quantum. The upped version now only does 1 quantum drain, but costs only 5 :air to play!

Thanks everyone for your kind words. This is only the second card I've created, so the encouragement has me super-stoked to created more!
