You can keep the EDITs in the NOTE section of the second table.

I personally feel the 60% on the upped is too much.  Maybe just increase damage when upgrading it?

The stated shields would be affected in the stated manner. As it is currently envisioned, these shields would be subject to the Bash Shield skill s.t. flail would destroy these shields at the approx 1-in-3 (2-in-3 upped) rate.

Is 60% too high? Maybe just increase the damage for the upped? These are also very good ideas which I must mull. Thank you. I'm sure a balance can be reached, and this input may help me get there!  :)

Oh, I think this game is full of magic, so there has to be a place for a magic weapon that can break magic shields, hasn't there? ;)
Plus, even if we make sure this idea isn't over powered and is well balanced, then your ROL Hope deck has nothing to worry about since the odds of it actually getting added to the game are slim to nil  :D  I kid, I kid...

But, yes, "immaterial" shields surely would have the chance of being bashed. 'tis the nature of the card.

hmmm. Outright destruction of untargetable objects is generally frowned upon highly. The only known offender is skull shield. There is a small precedent, but most seem to agree it detracts too heavily from the "immaterial" mechanic... what if it shuffled immaterial shields to owner's deck instead of destroying them?

What if in exchange for destroying immaterial shields, it [Flail] gets destroyed as well?

Personally, I do not like how affects certain shields.  For Bone Wall, I feel it shouldn't destroy the whole stack.  Maybe knock out 7 counters [equivalent to a played Bone Wall], but not the whole thing.

And aside from Jade, immaterial shields are pretty weak...

Perhaps if immaterial shields stood the same chance to reflect the flail back on itself? So an XX% chance to destroy the shield, but an equal or lesser chance that it doesn't and instead gets destroyed itself?

I guess I need to go browse some of the Card Theory forum, bc there appears a lot of the members of this community are viewing certain shields as immaterial and/or untouchable where I do not...

I'll be adding a poll today, as well as making some changes to the card design.

If the flail were magical then I would see no problem with thinking of the shield bash as an automated Deflagration. This would hit Wing or 1 layer of Bone Wall but not Reflective Shield.
