I think I'm with Kael on this one. Arguing over whether we should create specific synergies is sort of a moot point since they already exist in the game.
The concerns about limiting options in play strategies are legitimate, but once again, they already exist in the game, and quenching cards that boost a given combination at this point would only make it worse.
I think the best bet would be to start adding in more synergies, in hopes of opening up more strategies. You don't have to have one for every single one of the 66 combos, just enough to make more decks viable.
Example: look at a

FFQ deck. There is no direct quanta production link between
and
, but with firefly (non-upgraded) and rustler you can still link the two of them since the firefly produces
quanta and the rustler turns
into
Done creatively I think you could successfully make workable links between the elements with far less than 66 cards. That's sort of what this whole series is about.
I think some of the complaints about complexity on some of the quanta production cards are legitimate, but this one looks fine to me.
