I'd go ahead and raise the activation cost to four, just to be safe.

Ok.  So change Erode to cost 4 non- :water.  I'm also thinking to increase the gain for the upgraded one to 7.  This would allow someone to bring in a Permafrost Shield or Nymph's Tears with just one use.  Not sure how useful that would be though.

And how about a name change to Spray/Splash?  Not as epic, but creates a double entendre.

On account of me loving forest spectres/spirits and wanting a forest spectre/spirit deck, I love this card! The returning to your deck might be a problem though. Why use eternity when you can have this for 0 quanta and prevent decking out. Little OP in that respect. Might want to make it have a limit of 3 uses or something.
agreeing XD

Hi.  I'm the Master of Water, and I approve of this card.

This card is the bomb.  It fought in World War II, saved a busload of nuns in Chile, and runs the world's only legitimate hedge fund that appreciates at 12%.  I want to have this card's baby, and so does every member of the Pussycat Dolls.  This card cures cancer in small children and dementia in the elderly.  It can hurl tennis rackets at small moving animals with remarkable accuracy, and it firms and tightens your abs without you doing any exercise.

This card holds the number one video on MTV, the World Wrestling Entertainment's Hardcore Belt, and my heart in it's hands.  Jesus walked on this card, and multiplied it for the hungry masses.  Buddha sat under this card.  Mohammed was defeated in single combat by this card.

This card is love.

I'm the Master of Water, and I'd like to thank you for listening to this message.
Reminds me of the windows 7 commercials for some reason...

OK, so it creates more  :water, that's cool. So why does it return to your hand exactly? Doesn't this + quantum pillar + water dragons do too much?

Fire, Earth, Air, Light, and Life have creatures as alternative towers; I wanted to give Water its own alternative not involving creatures.  It requires other quanta to work, so 1 Quantum pillar would probably be enough.  That's why there was discussion to raise the activation cost.

As far as it being OP with Ice Dragons, I don't think it would be.  It's vulnerable to PC until you activate it and PA's would be useless because it is removed when you activate it.  As it is listed right now 3 --> 6 it is equivalent to Rustler.  Rather than being able to use it multiple times in a turn, it does a "splash" of production all at once.  And then you have to wait 2 turns before you can use it again.

The deck out prevention (returning to your deck) is similar to Eternity and symbolizes the timelessness of the ocean and how it takes eons for erosion to occur.  Here the other elements are being eroded.

OK, I read that it returns to your hand. My bad! =P
I like the splash idea, and because you still need to draw the card, it's not that OP without extra card drawing.
Therefore I think this is probably strongest in a  :time/ :water duo deck where you focus on  :time, and include these to pay for your water stuff. You only need to draw one, and the fact that it cloggs up your deck is not a problem for  :time.

Just letting you know now - even though it's in the archive, you can 'technically' resurrect this card into the Crucible again by changing the card (mechanic, element/theme, etc.), so that you have another shot. It's all up to you though, and nonetheless, I'm glad that your first post can be easily found on one of the boards. ^^
