overpowered. At least it is overpowered if you can use it on critters/permanent. just a few of those could totally get rid of problems like fire queen firefly queens and decay's pests, or ferox/elidnis empathic bonds, octane's unstable gases..
The intention was never to affect your opponent's deck.

As far as increasing its usefulness:  "Remove all copies of target card from your deck and hand.  Your opponent gains 1 poison counter for each card removed (max: 6)."

If you used another one of these, could you put another 6 counters for a total of 12, or no?

That's the intention.  Keep in mind you will have used 14 cards in doing so.

I love the idea but it almost seems UP. 6 cars is a heavy price for 6 poison. Why not just use two deadly poisons?

Heh.  The original card didn't even have the poison.  This is to remove unneeded duplicates from your deck.  For example, you have an Eclipse in your hand and another one in your deck, your opponent has already played Eclipse and you need to make room for Fractalling some Vampires.  If you use this card the Eclipses will be out of your way and your opponent gets some poison as well.

Wow, this is good, both deck thinning with an addition of generating poison counters? I'm voting for this.
