ART: srm359 IDEA: Jenkar NOTES: Misdirection and secrets rule the day today. Today, everything will be yours... for an instant. Copies have the same stats, ability ect as the original card. They are indicated by a dark heart icon, and are always destroyed at the end of your turn (after having attacked if they are creatures). You can activate their abilities if they have any on the turn they appear. No idea on balance cost. Theme wise : i've always felt (ever since i was touched by this feeling) that jealousy is something where you always feel "Hey, this is mine!" to realise an instant after that it isn't. The hurt of it scars one (hence - max hp). SERIES:

not bad. fractal will hurt if this card is unupped. a bit too powerful though, since losing only 1 hp when upgraded. most creatures have damage more than 1. with a sacrifice in small hp, u get to copy his dragons. this could end up a delay card if opponent wants to prevent u copying

I like it. However, I'd say make the unupped version cost 5 and the upped one should still drain 2 max hp. Also, since "envy" is generally used in a darker sense than "jealousy," you can consider switching the names around. Just my two cents.

i see where you were going with this and like the mechanic, but copying rather than stealing feels more like an aether version of the mechanic

Mhm. I thematically like the notion of less damage as you get better ''control'' over the feeling. It's all about that, thematically, the uograde : upgrade it => more control (hence the less dark, too).

Cost is still open to suggestion, though.
