Thanx to, Kael Hate, for the excellent advice. Card has been changed.
NOW this looks fun. :D

Basically a double rewind, but with a twist in that you get them before they can play them, and it can target even spells and permanents in their hands...

but if used first turn (unlikely I know) It could affect pillars and thusly set them back quite a bit, it does seem kinda costly to me in my opionion it should be 4/3 maybe? since they do get the cards back at some random time

i don't know it might be balanced but it is a good card, and man you want to use that artwork don't you?

@dragonhuman, I loved the card idea you posted recently!  About the cost, while yes, they will eventually get to the cards again, it still leaves them two cards behind you. You will have had two more cards available to you throughout the game (excepting for the hourglass) which could be huge. Hence, the cost. Also, if someone uses six of them, it could spell disaster, but far less than the previous version I floated, which actually REMOVED the cards from the game. About the artwork,  :)) , I was quite proud of that gimp-job.

@scaredgirl, thanx for posting the photoshop layered file, works great with gimp and really allows for someone to see what they're pondering! Also, it forces me to use gimp more, which is good.

The final transformation of this card is complete. I now believe this is a non-game-breaking card. I think the critique process went well, in forums and game chat. Thanx to all, and wish this card well. I hope to see it in game one day, hopefully you do, too!

Would love to hear what one of our Card Curator's think about the card.

A question: is it intentional that you can target only your opponent with this?
If it isn't considered stronger than its original use, maybe let me use this on myself :)

I like the idea but seems a bit overpowered to me because it can be devastating, especially early in the game.

Then again it's not as bad as Rewind because it shuffles the deck. Hm.. very difficult to say how balanced it would be without actually testing it.

I would change the wording to something like:
"Two random cards from opponents hand get shuffled back into his or her deck".

"Opponent shuffles" sounds like opponent is doing it manually or something.

Anyways, good work.

The problem with discard and counterspells is that False Gods would be next to impossible.  One of the only saving graces right now is the fact that you can set up a good combo in your hand (Quint + creature) without disruption.  These cards would also kill an entire style of deck building (decks that hunt for specific 5+ card combos and unleash them all at once).

You could argue that this is a good thing, but I always thought it was one of the many things Elements has that separates it from MTG.
