It wouldn't be hard to readjust Affinity on a creature to match the weapons. "If your mark is Earth, this creature gets +1|+1."

Hell, each Element could even have its own type of Affinity. +2|+0, +1|+1, +0|+2...you get the idea.
This change in affinity would make me very happy.
 :aether +0|2
 :air +1|0
 :darkness +1|0
 :death +0|2
 :earth +0|2
 :entropy +1|0
 :fire +2|-1
 :gravity +0|2
 :life +1|0
 :light +1|0
 :time +1|0
 :water +1|0

Done and done. Thanks for the chart.

Affinity is a +0-1 skill now.

Submitted for Crucible, with or without the Affinity. Poll posted for my own satisfaction.

Thread for creature affinities removed to here (http://elementscommunity.org/forum/index.php/topic,20915.msg284736#msg284736).

Do I like the affinity idea? yes, in general I think it could be interesting, but as we see, it's still getting tweaked :s
Does affinity make or break this card (/make much difference)? meh, probably not....

So in that sense perhaps a 'no' for now, but if the affinity catches on this could definitely become one of the cards which has it, just with the affinities still changing I'm not sure it does much for this card and may distract from actual creature/ability in general? (although perhaps not, obviously just thinking about possibilities...)

So, PA on a stick... I always waited for that idea to come out.
[snip]
Actually, a similar 'PA on a stick' idea has made before: http://elementscommunity.org/forum/index.php/topic,5478.0.html

The difference between this card and that one is that Bronze Man | Talos has not limitation in what permanents it can target, while the old idea had a very strict requirement of only protecting one permanent at a time (anti-PC back then was a major issue, I believe). That said, -I- would add a minor comment in your NOTES section to mention the Terrasque creature, but it's not completely necessary, since the abilities are still different enough to be considered unique. Your idea has been approved anyway. ;)

As for the Affinity idea, Werdbooty, I suggest you implement it on another creature, rather than trying to cram it all into this card. ^^; Just saying.

I've not seen Terrasque, but I took a look and I can say that the two ideas are unique to one another (in that they were conceived separately).  I guess I can update the table to include a link, though I'm not 100% why, unless it's so people can see an example of another card with this ability? At any rate, I was looking through the comments for Terrasque and came across this:

I wouldn't like to see PA on a stick right now because its the only protection for permanents right now, maybe later when more get developed but right now I'm going to say no.
Given the number of permanents and new effects making it into the game, I think we're due for a new PA.

As for the Affinity, that was more or less to demonstrate a new mechanic (http://elementscommunity.org/forum/index.php/topic,20915.msg284736#msg284736). I decided to give people the option of whether or not to include the extra bonus (see attached poll). In the end, Bronze Man obviously doesn't need the bonus, but it's there to drum up interest in the ability.

Thank you for your input, Kuro. Hope to see this one make its way to the Forge as well :)
