Shard of Focus + Shard of Fertility makes 7, if not 12. Then, Air mark for Blitz. And the fact that (1) is so much more useful than (2) and (3) only serve to prove that it's mostly viable for rushes and OTKs.

ART: Drake_XIV IDEA: Drake_XIV NOTES: Okay, I have several uses: 1. Cheaper Dragons This is the most prominent.  Either from the use of cheap "tokens" [Spark, Photon, Ash Eater, etc.] since they can be played easily separate from Seal/Emblem, or Dragons, since they will drop from 10+ quanta to 7. 2. Cheaper Spells/Permanents There aren't a lot, but there are handful of spells and permanents that have costs that exceed 7 quanta.  This will not remove the drain effects of Sky Blitz, Miracle, or Fractal. 3. Soft Denial Will null most rushes and prevent OTKs in dire moments.  Of course, they can improvise with Dragon rushes if they have sufficient quanta, so it shouldn't be taken for granted. The effects of creatures like Chimera will not take effect when they are played.  The cost change does not affect ability cost except in the case of Mitosis, which will remain at 10+ for the Dragons. Other creatures will take on the cost of a random quanta.  For example, Shard of Focus is played.  From there, it picks from the pool with the most quanta.  If there is insufficient quanta there, it shall pick from the next largest quanta pool.   So if I have 6 and 3 , playing Shard of Focus [or Malignant Cell] will consume 6 and 2 . The problem with this idea is that not every element has as good dragons as the others.  element, for example, would rule with this card, since it would spawn 10/10 and 12/12 creatures pretty easily, and despite the fact Miracle will drain all the  quanta, it still becomes much cheaper and more easy-to-use.  is maybe the second most-buffed-element of this card, since its 10/6 and 12/9 dragons are overall the second best.

Well, the idea was to make a cheaper way of playing dragons while creating some sort of obstacle.  As for , it deserves, or at least I feel that, it needs a way to get its dragons out cheaper.

I like this card's idea of encouraging dragon playing, but I don't think it is more difficult for  to get out a dragon, since its dragon cost the same with any other dragon, but it has much higher health than the other ones. Maybe reducing the price of each dragon by half instead of every dragon to cost 7-8 quanta?

Maybe dragons should get a buff upon playing them but only for the first turn

False, Golden | Light Dragons cost 12 | 13.

And I made it drop/raise costs to 8 so it didn't just affect dragons.  I meant it as a preventative card, too.  Not only as a way to get dragons out.

Well, despite my arguments, I am starting to really like this card and I truly think I will vote it in the next crucible poll. The truth is dragons need some love...
