Divine Icon would be insane in a Fractal/RoL/Hope deck as a replacement for dragons. The ability to make your Rays immaterial while boosting their attack is just plain amazing, if not overpowered.

I haven't decided yet. There'll probably be some sort of AI7 Demigods that use those Legendary Creatures.

So the target creature is no longer Immortal if Divine Icon dies? But you would probably Immortalize Divine Icon itself first, so I don't think this changes things much.

Nope, the target will remain Immortal because I was thinking that the Icon would only enhance your Blessings cast while on the field, not keep creatures immortal. I think it would be a good way to combo Blessings and hit it (most viable target is a Pegasus) with an Enhanced Blessing for a last chain in the combo. Of course, that deals with holding the Icon in your hand until you need the more powerful form of blessing.

I understand what you mean now. But I don't think a creature that specifically changes how a spell card works is codable... And it breaks the consistency in the Legendary Creatures series.

I agree.  The biggest weakness RoL/Hope has is that the RoL army is fragile.  This is a mono card, so you wouldn't have to add any splash or toss in Quints...

Speaking of which, I wonder how a RoL/Hope deck with a Turquoise Nymph would fare against FGs?  Maybe a single Quint to get it out more safely?
