ART: Zblader/zanzarino IDEA: coinich NOTES: If a creature has negative attack, and gets hit with this card, it then stays on the field until its next attack phase, after which it dies.  That means Antimatter+Distortion Bolt will kill any non-0 ATK creature.  Not much else to say about it; Flying Titans won't be particularly strong when you take 84 damage to get out a two card combo. EDIT: the wording has slightly changed; the new explanation is here.  Owner refers to the owner of the targeted creature.  If I target my Elite Armagio, the change in attack would be 28, so I would take 56 damage.  If I targeted my opponent's Ruby Dragon, the change in attack would be -13, so he would be healed 26 points.  If I did it to my Ruby Dragon, I'd heal 26 points as well, whereas doing it to his Elite Armagio would make him take 56 damage.  Its a dangerous, versatile card. I also call dibs on the name Blood Debt, making this a darkness card, and making the owner of the creature take the damage.  SERIES:

The mechanic would work but might Entropy or Gravity (Gravity or Entropy) be a better fit for Atk/HP inversion?

Gravity creatures, Antimatter, Maxwell's Demon, Heavy Armor, Guardian Angel, Enemy's Huge dragons.

It makes it take 2 turns to neutralize the additional cost. Sounds fair if there are 3-4 turns left.


This idea has been desired for a long time and it has been trouble to balance. I think you have finally solved that problem.

PS: If this decreases the attack of an opposing monster you still take damage right? It always deals the user damage never heals correct?

TStar made the point of Flying Titans.  I'm not sure how applicable it is; I really can't test it.  Twice may not be necessary at all.

Sevs, it would also work for Armagios, Massive Dragons, as well as soft CC for other cards such as Overdriven ________ and anything else.  Also, its too strong in Entropy, with those Demons and Antimatter.

Agreed with Higs - 42 damage is still not worth the Flying Titan if you ask me. Dragons and Armagio are strong enough an argument though.

Tstar noted that Entropy already has a lot of strong cards. Also it should probably not be in Gravity to keep the Flying Titan combo a trio. I think it would be fine in entropy though since it'd be really expensive with Antimatter. Unsure about Demons - that would require playtesting.

I would pay 48|56 damage for a 25|30 attack Armagio.
The x2 damage is worth it IMO.

I know what effects it has. Being powerful is fine. It's not cheap to cast, and it's situational utility. If it's not gamebreaking, it's not broken. If it's not broken, don't fix it.

No i understood what cards it should work with but with the whole double part, I couldnt see it being helpful when you take 56 damage to switch an armagio, not only leaving it very vulnerable but over half your life would be gone. this makes it an awful card to draw late when life is getting low. I was just wondering if you had thought of situations that made it better.

The point is, having a 50 attack momentum creature, possibly quinted, is... worth the price. Just pack healing into a deck with Animate Weapons, Titans, Quints and this. Possibly TU. It's a duo deck, and you can probably get two momentumed 50-attack creatures for some damage pretty quick, while stalling with Dim Shields and SoGs. It's a GOOD combo.

1x the damage is enough. This card will be most effective at high-HP creatures, like Armagios or Flying Titans. in both cases, 2x damage means almost an instant kill. on most other creatures the change is not significant enough other than, for example, using this on an enemy Phoenix as CC, or any other creatures with 0 attack to make them spark-like (Bye bye nymphs!) and then again, why use CC that damages you anyway? 1x damage is enough.
