Not discarded? What if enemy has no cards in hand, less than 3 quanta and you play this? He's stuck forever in a loop?

i guess in the off chance it is possible to quanta drain someone to 0 and have this in their hand.. i put the no discard part to make it more of a threat.. i could lower its cost? either that or add in that if under that circumstance discard it and lose the life.

If it can be lobotomized, then that opens up some other things. However, I see that as too small a margin to be affected by. I mean, come on. Holy Light deals 10 damage to darkness, but now it's useless? Even though I rarely see it as an offense.

id say all the things u just listed is fairly large amount for stopping this. Some of those you cannot use on it because for example plague.. only targets ur opponent not urs. paradox ?? its a 3|3 or a 3|4 not possible unless u beef it..

it can also be mutated and improved. shields can kill it if ur opponent plays them. the point of this is to force it into ur opponents hand using nightmare.
coupled with the other card idea i made Curse  | Hex, it can make for a fun/i think decent game mechanic.

Unfortunately, in Darkness, there are already tons of small creatures (and by 'small' I mean those costing 3 or less quanta to cast) to choose from; Pest, Bloodsucker, Voodoo Dolls, Minor Vampire etc
Being somewhat immaterial (if i understand correctly) is a plus and interaction with Eclipse also help but I think it would be best if you switch the life loss so that it would suck your life less after upgraded. This way, you could fractal the sucker (pardon the pun) and still have an army of spell-immune critters that will wreak havoc on your opponent. I believe it does not actually have immaterial so correct me if I'm wrong.

It cannot be destroyed by spells only... and it cannot be discarded (forcing the opponent to play them to cause the loss of life)
I suppose it is kind of like drawback but not really...drawback was used to put it back into your hand.
This card is meant to be played once on your own side of the field.. then use nightmare to fill your opponents hand with it. the cost is 3  :rainbow   ( :rainbow = random?)  to ensure that it is not forcing the opponent to try and discard it. you would not use eclipse with this because then you are giving them a bigger creature to hit you with. if you used this say with the diamond shield.. they would never hit you. it may force them to use a card that drains their life but it still can give them an army of creatures to kill you with so it has to be used properly or it would lose the game for you.

As far as fractalling the card, yes you could do that and hit them with the creature.  If you have say 5 of these out, you attack for 3, lose 3, attack for 3, lose 3 ... etc...  in the end you and the opponent (no shields assumed here) take 15 damage. so if you have more hp than them fine i guess but you really did nothing to help yourself.
i can see some people trying to use this with fractal and healing (shards) but i do not see that as being a very fruitful option so the cost should be ok.
