the hexed tower has the ability added
Hex
While this tower is in play, the owner loses 4 life at the end of each turn.

The pillar/tower that is put into play will have a black star if possible put on it to show it is separate from regular pillars/towers.

So... You use this when the opponent has no cards in hand, and you have almost max. I like the amount of effort required to set it up. A+

Does Hex create a hexed towers or hexed pillars? (image and table disagree)

The unupped would be nice quanta acceleration for Darkness.
The hostile use of the card seems limited to near the end of the game or at any other time when excess quanta is not useful. Most of the time it will just prevent 1 draw at the cost of giving the opponent a pillar.

fixed it in the 2 spots.. its a tower..
it could be used at any time in the game really. if your opponent is low on pillars or towers and u give them some they may be forced to use them. also forcing the loss of life each turn.

possible change (pillars/towers cannot be discarded)
to make it stronger.

I am claiming that 1 quanta per turn is > 1 damage per turn. (maybe even greater than 2 damage per turn)

Yeah looks better now.

For quanta acceleration the unupped would be used
For damaging the opponent the upgraded would be used.

The upgraded is just on the line where the opponent will feel that they benefit from playing the towers (until you go into heavy stall mode.)

yea, also if you play many of these it force them to play them just to draw cards of their own.

*reserved idea* i may make a creature with similar concept.. and use it with nightmare.
