What do you mean? It allows me to distribute the art, and it allows me to adapt it. I don't see anywhere that it doesn't allow me to do whatever I did.

- For technical reasons replace the last reference to Darkness with :Darkness

But that implies the cost is ONE Darkness quantum, which is not always true.

Plausible inference. Other fix would be to add the word 'quanta' after darkness.

- Conversion is an ok name but something more specific maybe better. The theme of the name is ok, but once you use conversion it cannot be used for anything else. An option might be "Defection" or "Renounce Faith"

For all I care, the upped name could also be Corruption, or Improved Corruption, or whatever. It's not important.

I'm not changing this card until Kael tells me it's OP. He did say he's going to test it.

Testing so far has shown it to be strong but not op. The presence of Immortality leaves this card without targets and anything that isn't immortal can be busted with other creature removal anyhow. The drains all is a good balance.

I have found it is very much an expensive control magic and you often are in question wether to use it now or hold off for a better target.

Its strongest attribute is unquestioned card advantage. You as the user gain a creature and are able to remove an opponents creature at the same time. A 2 card swing and giving you a tool to deal damage with.

What do you think about using this card on your own creatures? It could effectively allow you to build a duo deck that would require 3 elements otherwise,
eg. with anubis, and if your opponent does not play any strong creatures you use it on anubis so that you can immortalize your creatures without using

I think it would make a nice dual-strategy, if your opponent plays strong creatures you corrupt them, and you use your creatures without corrupting them (anubis or lava golem can both serve as additional hitters even without ability), and if your opponent plays weak creature spam or creatureless, you use 'plan B'

A deck like this would use corruption in a more versatile way, but at the expense of consistency and having very expensive cards in duo (though it would not be as much of a problem if you only take fire mark and add a few golems).

What about a basic 5 Darkness Quanta cost + the creature cost for the spell?

If this card goes live, it would make Darkness the most popular Mono theme.
Not that it's bad. Not bad at all for that matter.
And besides that, I was wondering what would happen if I rewind the creature, does it go into my deck? Or to the opponets? And on that matter, does corruption wear off?

I guess it would be the same as with parallel universe, when creature is rewinded it goes to the deck of the player on whose field the creature is, and when you play it it is an entirely new creature... at least this is how the game works right now.

In fact this card seems very similar to parallel universe + instant kill on the target + skill cost change.

Anyway when balancing this card you should think about how it relates to PU and antimatter, the two cards that have the most similar effect right now.

What do you think about using this card on your own creatures?

As any other option is already dual the only creature of my own I would use it on is the parasite and if there is a creature I can hit with the parasite I might as well corrupt anyhow. So my thought in general is that its pointless.

I've read the topic, and I'm especially worried about using it on nymphs and flying weapons.
Especially stealing a nymph would be overpowered, so mayby just limit it to normal creatures, so it can't be used on rares (except pharaoh). Explanation would be that nymphs are a all a little divine, so they can't be brought to 'earth', and weapons are not living things so the can't be persuaded to do something (like changing their master or cost).
Or if you use it on a nymph or weapon, the cost isn't changed to darkness.

1- definatly not the element to choose with this cards ability...  in my honest opinion.

2- way too much quanta.... the only card that comes close to this cost is a IMMATERIAL creature that cost 13 and does 10 dmg.

3- good, idea. bad, representation of said idea.

Its like miracle, Frac and such, It drains all quanta anyway and besides most darkness decks have NO problem getting 10 darkness.

Unless Kael tells me it's OP, I'm not listening to anyone's arguments or suggestions. Not saying they're bad, but Kael is the one who's actually testing the card in simulated games; his judgement is often more accurate because he's actually USING the card, instead of just guessing.

To all others who suggested things like variable cost for this card, not being able to target weapons/nymphs: I would want to avoid making this card too complicated. Right now Kael is testing this card, and he's not saying it's OP yet.
