I'm still not sure about the cost. From one side, it is a reusable mass creature control. Taking Squid and Pulverizer as a base, it is clear that reusable spells cost more than the original spell. The original spell would be Plague, but going over 4 quanta for a creature ability cost is too much. However, the drawback of the skill (targeting all creatures, including your own) reduces the cost because, as you said, it limits your offense. Unupgraded Pandemonium costs 3 as well, and it has the potential to be a lot more powerful. So this is how I tried to balance it, but it might be wrong. 3
felt right, because it is worse than Plague. The poll is giving me a hard time too, the number of votes are too close, and the total amount of votes isn't much, either. I am leaning a bit towards 4

, so that when you upgrade it, both uses of the card gets an upgrade.
I chose the Corpse Pile theme because Plague Ghoul is an idea already on the forum (I think). There were also corpses thrown with catapults in the medieval age, so I found it fitting for a catapult fodder. It is not supposed to be animated or anything, it's just a pile of corpses that is rotting away. With a bit of energy spent (death quanta), you can hasten and empower this, so that everything is infected on the field. Sitting beside rotting corpses is bad for your health.
