So, let's compare this to known mechanics:

You're saying a 4 :time 3|3 creature has a 2 :life ability that works as follows:
Skip this card's normal attack this turn. Deal damage to the target equal to this card's attack at the end of your turn.
The effect can be nullified by Sundial and it also does nothing in the way of Poison. Epinephrine would result in this card instantly killing any monster with low hp at the cost of 2 :life per turn, HOWEVER I still think this card might need to have some changes made so that its mechanics make more sense in comparison to others.
Perception is the source of misunderstanding.

Why, yes. I do have a Mindgate necklace. It's how I ninja everyone.

Actually wouldn't Adrenaline cause the Lion to attack the target once and then repeated attacks would target the opponent?

Cost wise it's not too different from Eagle Eye, except that Eagle Eye can attack target for three damage, and attack the opponent for 5.  It's a bit lower powered, unless it was in a element that is lacking in CC.

My question is why Time?  How does this fit thematically with Time?  Wouldn't it be more thematic with the initial cost being Life and then some other quanta to trigger the attack?  Maybe Gravity or Death, or even just more Life?

I could see it being used in a mono-Life deck if the costs where all Life.

technically, adrenaline would cause all attacks to hit the same target, that is not intended and i did not think of it when making this card.

it's time because, well when was the last time you saw a gladiator fighting a lion in a colosseum?  basically, i noticed how almost all time cards had to do with time manipulation, and not different time periods (like anubis and pharaoh are from eqyptian times) so i decided to make a few time cards from different time periods.

Technically Adrenaline gives the Lion 1 turn of attacking the target and 3|2 turns of attacking the opponent.

I understand the :time cost. But why the :life cost?

ok thats good.

mostly because while you have to use :time to grab it, it's still a feralish animal, which i associate with :life:fire may or may not make more sense, but there is plenty of CC in fire, where as there isn't in life.

The ability feels like a more offensive version of 'Guard'. What OldTrees said about the effect of adrenaline would be consistent with this working in a similar way as a 3-attack Warden with adrenaline will be delayed for the first attack and then attack normally 3 times.

How would this act with Shard of Readiness?

a second activation of the ability would override the first.

thinking this card might benefit from a "non-airborne" clause similar to warden
