I think Kael Hate already suggested a prism card that generated quanta. I would find the link but I don't want to waste 10 minutes.
Spectral Prism (http://elementscommunity.org/forum/index.php/topic,5557.0.html)...Series forum ftw.

Raindrop's name and card concept are different enough.

I did not know that existed. However, while the idea of splitting light is similar, the actual mechanics are very different.

No comments on how the card works? Maybe quanta balancing?

I'm not sure how to feel about this idea - Water and Light duos are slightly odd, and this just makes it so that the two elements allow you to splash into other elements (for a rainbow) easier.

Can you imagine this type of card being in any deck, Krahhl? Normal Rainbows? Water/Light-emphasized decks? Something else I'm not thinking of?

I originally saw the image on google images, but I went back and found the site it was on. Updated opening post with link.

At first I had thought of the card as a supporting source of quanta in rainbows that don't use much water or light. It generates a good amount of quanta, but it's a good amount of generation lost if destroyed. It couldn't be relied on as the main source, only a boost, since it costs light quanta to use and doesn't give any back. But it could still lower the total number of towers, allowing decks to squeeze in an extra utility card or just trim down a bit.

However, guolin suggested decks using this card powered by pendulums. This would be the opposite of above, helping decks that use more water or light quanta. A few water pendulums could give enough quanta to play a raindrop and then continue producing for an earlier permafrost shield. Supernovas may not even be necessary. Again, allowing more deckbuilding possibilities.

Due to the amount of water creatures that use alternate quanta or use alternate quanta to some and use water this seems like a good idea:
Mind Flayer - :aetherPufferfish - :airTrident - :earthSteam Machine - :fireForest Spirit - :life
That's five different quanta already and I may have missed out some.
