I think this conflicts with the description on the card. Should'nt reverse time generate another Psy Butterfly instead of it's effect ?

Ah no, unless I'm missing something.  The only card that acts differently is Butterfly Effect, not Reverse Time, or any other spell.

Considering Ajit's notes, it seems that it only duplicates the butterfly and does not give it the skill on top. Like the mummy that is only turned into a pharao, not put back into the deck as well. Otherwise it might be considered a tad strong.

Really like the idea though! Espec that you can't buy the Butterfly!
Could even go further with other butterflies if you wanted, starting all with Cocoon, and different element quanta turns it into different butterflies...? just a thought

I agree, and could take the uniqueness away from this one, which works so well, and is also that life/entropy combo.
Only one off the top of my head would be like a fire one along the lines of Red Admiral

I would see two more butterflies: Life and Air. They would fit IMO.

thanks for the comments guys.  My original idea was that cocoon would transform into a butterfly matching the element of whatever spell targeted it. Shrine its welcome to run with that idea if they want to, just add me to list of creators

Well yes, Cocoon would have to look something more like this , obv will need tweaking etc and I'm not really the one to take this on, it's just a thought

Definite support to the already awesome  /  synchro.  I like this card, it works well in stall decks since it heals you, and with Butterfly Effect can become a potential rusher as well.

One thing though : I find the card extremely similar to Graboid/Shrieker in terms of both the evolution combo and threat level, which is made slightly more dangerous by allowing a 4  card to become TU for this card.  I can't say it's OP or UP, but it's just something I want to make a note of ATM.
