NOTES:
Originally inflicted a random amount of poison.  Now can destroy quantum with more poison.

  • Counterable by Sanctuary and Purify.
  • Effect is inflicted when poison damage is dealt (beginning of the attack phase).
  • Replaces other types of special poison, and is signified by a pink :death with the appropriate poison counter.
  • Card should also have "Cause poisoning if ingested." but due to font size text space was limited.

I would say something like this:
Add 0 to 4 poison counters each turn.

Before it was 1 to 4, but no one seemed to like it.  Seemed too plain.  So having thought of an alternate effect, I decided that this could be it's use.

So, if enemy has 10 poison counters, it will lose 2 quantum each turn?
It seems too weak in comparision to dune scorp.

This idea just spawned, I may buff the effect to increase every 2 or 3 poisons.

Erm that idea really has nothing to do with poison.  You are implying that I target something already in play.  The idea of most of my special venom types is that the effect forces a condition based upon the poison counter, not to apply a selectable-target effect, while the other types only affect the venom capability itself.

Thinking about buffing it to 1 quantum for every 3 (maybe even 2 eventually) since it does seem rather UP.

I thought about what would happen for an entropy scorpion, seems to be the only one that would really make sense or seem to have any place elsewise (I guess...) I think a good idea would be to make it -4/1 and cause 1 poison per turn, and the upgraded version could either be -3/4, or -5/3 (since people would find a way to incorporate antimatter all the time with this...) so yeah, I guess that would be a new way to spark interest/add a new very... interesting scorpion :3 (seriously, are you going to say you thought of something like this? deals healing but slowly builds up poison damage and can be antimattered?)

? I know, but... well.... mmmm I don't think theres a magic number for negative damage, because it would be poisoning and slowly outpace the health it gives, but on the flip side people would just say "what the hell, ANTIMATTER!", cuz' seriously, thats what I see happening  :(
