Just to be a perfectionist shouldn't the card text have a capital (not sure about full stops).
At this stage punctuation and grammar on the card are unimportant but the table should match what is on the card.

Okay, it sounds like I may want to do a revision on the card anyway, I can fix the grammar on the card when I do that.

It seems that half of the people are telling me the current form is UP and half are telling me it's OP. Honestly I think it's OP myself, so I think I'm going to weaken it a little the question is how.

As another option to those I listed previously would be to make it so people casting spells could still decide whose board the spell/ability affects.

Please share your thoughts on how you'd like the card modified

*edit* so I'm getting very mixed feedback on how to change the card, so what do you think of this:
(http://imageplay.net/view/m7Gbd71547/Chaos_Dice_upgrade_v2) (http://imageplay.net/view/m7Gbd71548/Chaos_Dice_v2)

I cut the cost as a couple people suggested, but I also reduced the number of turns it's active for and cut the effectiveness of the upgrade. I'll change the poll to see which version people like better.

UPDATE:

I changed the card to the new version.

I decided that in this version the upgrade didn't need to cost more, as I think few people would make a deck that gambles on a 40% chance of being able to target a spell.

I think you should increase the cost of the upped to 5 (maybe 6) and make it just your opponents cards

That's more or less the way I had it originally, there was some concern with balancing.

It might be less of an issue now that the card doesn't last as long though. I'll consider it and see what other people have to say.

Good idea on the doesn't last as long part for just your opponents cards.  With this is there a chance a mutant factory would kill itself? Many rainbows are mutant factories and that would kill any chances of this card surviving.  I tried to vote but I couldn't really decide I don't think this card is over powered or underpowered its just....

With any new ability introduced there will have to be some adjustments made to the AI so the AI knows how to react to it. I'm no programmer but I don't think it'd be to hard to introduce a new factor to the algorithm for "should I use this spell or not"

Although then again the AI doesn't really understand reflective shields either, and occasionally kills itself on those . . .

With players running mutant factories (that's actually the deck I currently run) then a player simply wouldn't mutate things when the odds were strongly against them. Remember that most mutant factories are designed to swarm a lot of small creatures, and if you have more creatures than your opponent the spell/ability is more likely to hit one of yours than one of theirs.

Well since the dice are entropy (a basis for many mutant factories) this could cause some problems correct me if I'm wrong but isn't much of entropy based off of mutation?  You could build a deck that's not but I'd be troubled to find it.  How would this effect skills such as growth?

It wouldn't effect any skill that doesn't target, so growth abilities would work normally. (except for oty, who would eat a random creature, but the +1/+1 would still end up on oty)

One of the main non-mutant entropy decks is werewolfs, but there's several others. Check out the mono decks section or some of the decks team :entropy uses in the war for examples.

The main thing I go for with a lot of my cards though is that they shouldn't just strengthen existing decks, they should open up new possibilities for making decks.

I think this card would be interesting in a lot of things like an  :entropy / :fire deck, since :fire creatures hit hard but are vulnerable to creature control. You could use the dice to shelter your creatures while creature control spells are just as likely to hit the enemy as they are your guys.

It'd be useful in any deck of the "I summon creatures and they bash your face in" variety

I like your idea but that would have to be a pure creature deck an irk of mine its a decent card but its not going to be fractal or quint

It could be an effective counter to both fractal & quint though

Yes I see it would be an effective counter but my main problem is trying to find a deck that this would be effective with.
