Is the reduction of damage before or after the attack...? If a horned frog (3/3) attacks, it gets 2/4. did it deal 2 or 3 damage...?

Interesting. So when arrived to 0 atk and with epinephrine the creature gains 5 hp each turn? does it increase max hp or is it like the heal from the angels? or does it increase max hp when it has full health?

Yes, it would increase max hp. An epinephrined creature could get an Incredible amount of HP in a short time with this shield, but at the same time its attack would stay 0. It is only dangerous if the opposing creature has a dangerous ability, for example: devour.

A creature with no attack (and or without adrenalin) isn't effected by shields. They can't be poisoned by thorn carapace, they can't be damaged by the nasty fire shield and they can't be frozen with the ice shield... That's because creatures without attack gain 5 "turns", not 5 "attacks". So just like any other shield, this shield shouldn't do anything to creature with 0 attack. (and creatures with antimatter aren't effected by shields as well)

True. I was only half-aware of that. But still an opposing otyugh would be a problem.

I'm guessing this would still affect quinted creatures and wouldn't affect spell damage and momentum.

This is a very interesting card. With otyughs, you would essentially gain 0|+2 for each devour and deal 1 damage. Overdrive should be fun. +2 to attack with no damage is always good. IMO cards which lower damage (and indeed repair damage) should be good in this game. Good card!

First of all I like this card. It's not op and it's still not bad. About above^^I think this could be changed to still affect creatures with 0 attack, it doesn't need to be written on the card to affect them.

I missed the part, that this card is a normal permanent and not a shield after all, an therefor not blocking your shield slot. So you can use this card and a diamond shield at the same time, and create amazing defense. Even with a tower shield, or especially gravity shield, this card becomes quite powerful, maybe even a little bit OP, and hard to balance.

If it stays a permanent, not more than one of these cards should be able to be effective at the same time, just like with nightfall and eclipse.

No. This + Gravity Shield would be incredibly OP. It's better for all of us if it just remains a shield permanent.

I think that giving the opponent more HP with no penalty is not a preferable move for the one who used the shield. It would make this an unwanted card in many decks if it would go like that. ^^" But that's just my opinion.
