only problem for the upped is what if your deck doesn't use those elements?

and why does the upped version if it becomes changed only produce one quantum instead of the 2 normally?

If you don't use or then no loss for using the cavern.

My fault, the is a passive ablility. Only the Lavatube or Underground Sea skill is changed.

1. In a Cavern you got Earth and Dark and thats about it until Water flows in or Lava flows in.

2. The card is in theme, showing a mechanic, not a tool to boost already synergistic card combinations tho some of the cards inadvertently might.

I suppose this could be used somehow with lava golems but there'd have to be some really ingenious ideas to involve that black qauntum

Mark of Darkness. Devourers. Earthquakes. Add Titanium Shield and/or Basilisk blood for defense. Maybe some other Darkness cards. And you can burrow the Devourers too. You call that "little synergy"?
