NOTES:
Originally made for the It All Floods Over Card Design Challenge.

Picture is in Public Domain.

Vritra was a sea serpent from Hindu mythology who once swallowed the ocean. Most people probably know of the Leviathan.

This is an indirect combo with Flooding, because those who use Flooding would likely have many water creatures in their deck, and if Vritra's ability is used several turns after Flooding has been played, most creatures on both sides of the field are likely to be water as well. In the latest version, I've nerfed it by making it a duo creature, to decrease the potential of abuse with Fractal.

How did you get the mark to show on the deck?
If Nowhere is Somewhere, and Somewhere is Over there, How can we be Anywhere?

Isn't Leviathan a bit OP compared to Vritra? Comparison:

Leviathan's ability costs 1 less.
Leviathan has 3 more base health.
Leviathan has 2 more base damage.
Leviathan costs 1 quanta less than Vritra.

OP?

Well of course this isn't final, I'm posting this for feedback to make it better. Which changes do you think I should make, or should I change all of them?

I reckon for Leviathan (for now):

Cost: Stay the same
Ability: Increase cost by 1
Damage: Decrease by 1
Health: Decrease by 2

Hmmm... So this is a possibly more powerful Lycanthropy (scratch that, it IS more powerful. It comes from the same element as the creature, it can be used MULTIPLE times in a game, and the creature initially has a heck of a lot of health.), and it depends on the number of creatures on the field. It's weaker than an attack-based "swarm" passive, because it has to be activated... Still not balanced. Something's gotta be changed, I'm just not sure what.
Perception is the source of misunderstanding.

Why, yes. I do have a Mindgate necklace. It's how I ninja everyone.

Actually Nepycros, it can't be used multiple times: it gains +X permanently, same as Lycanthrope, meaning it happens once and it's done.

KingOfArmagio, I made the changes you requested. New card coming later.

IMHO the Leviathan should only get the +2 attack or the +3 HP for the upgrade, not both considering it also gets it cost lowered.

I will add this to the polls since you followed all the competition rules, but can you please add a direct link to the image in your table?

I chose to change the upgrade to just +2 attack. Also linked the image source as well as uploaded a new card for Leviathan. Thanks for the help!
