NOTES:
Functions similar to bonewall as far as removal goes.  It's stackable, so playing a second one would let you have 6 tails. The weak Attack | Defense is because you would only be animating one of the tails.   Fractaling or otherwise bouncing an animated tail and then replaying it would only give you one more tail. (Animated name is whip.

So this is basically how it works (I am only using unupgraded Whip in my examples):

When the weapon is played, you start off dealing 3 damage.  If you were to play it again, you would deal 6 damage.  A third play would deal 9 damage.  There is no ceiling.
If you were to play six Mindgates (the maximum you can have without use of moar Mindgates) you could theoretically have a total of 36 of these for a total of 108 damage. (assuming no flying weapon + reverse time combos come into play).
If you were to play this card, then animate it (a total of 5 random quanta), and then fractal it, and play all of your copies the next turn after discarding one (assuming you are playing mono-aether and will not have any quanta left after fractalling the Whip), you would be dealing a total of 23 damage with your weapon and 1 damage with your flying Whip thing.

This is crack for mono-Aether decks and against Mindgate decks.  If you wanted to make it ridiculous, double the cost, but make it give you one  :aether per successful attack.  This might require a new picture and changing the element to Aether, though.

I would suggest making this an elemental weapon to enable a higher cost and help balance Fractal

yeah i think ill switch it to dark...

i was gonna call it cat of nine tails but thought the variable number of tails didnt fit.  maybe cat of many tails?  not too worried about the name right now.

You mean like the image/name?  That could probably be done, but I have never seen it before.

The current code would possibly support that with some minor modifications. It currently destroys the weapon and creates an independent creature. Based off Bonewall that should only remove 1 tail.

Cat O many tails would be a nice variable tails name.

changed it to darkness and raised the cost by 1.  its tough to find the balance between "not useless if you play only 1" and "not broken if you play 6"
