It averages .5 with 1, 1 with 2. Theres a reason there is an animate weapon in there. Just hit on alternate turns. Now all we need is an aether spell card that makes creatures glow, repelling cloak on them, and you creatures are safe except for the shining voodoos.

2 X :darkness + 1 :rainbow + 4 :aether + 3+X cards for 16 + X damage per turn is not OP or even that strong!
