Most likely there would just be a counter on the card for three turns. Examples of this are dimensional shield, cloak, and sundial.

What should I do now with THIS card to improve it?

OK, idea:
Have it affect ALL creatures, not only darkness ones. This will make the card more versatile. Anyway, you'll still have to spend the dark quanta so it won't be OP.

Edit to the card:

Modified the effect for it to have effect on all creatures. If you consume caffeine, even if you're not a darkness creature, I bet you stay awake though :).
Furthermore, since the card cost is in  :darkness , you are still relatively bound to this element, even with the upped card (5  :darkness is a tad high for a rainbow, and if a rainbow deck can use this deck comfortably, let it be! hahaha  ;) ).

Good to use on arena, since you could put a lot of extra points in stamina and the HP loss would be minimal.

Hmmm I like the idea for this card. However, making it stackable would boost its potential just a bit too much, and making it non stackable would be just a bit UP. So it's up to you. Unless of course you change the mechanics of the card itself but that would not be too benefitial, as I quite like the idea. With over 50% of the votes being unsure, I think that this is open to debate. This can go to Forge, in my opinion; but changing it before or after getting there is important. If this card is ever included in the game (I hope so :) ), it should be clear whether it's stackable or not.

I voted Unsure too, but I lean more towards "the make it stackable" part, because its price is enough for it not to be used compulsively and to be a bit restricting with Fractal. In fact, if I'm allowed to do so, I'll change my vote to Stackable.
EDIT: AOK, I'm not allowed to do so. I'm a bit in the middle of those two so anyway...
