So just thinking about this possibility. I am open to any feedback; probably this card isn't useful in Darkness because other cards can be used instead with similar effects, but in another Element it might be, so I would appreciate any comments, ideas or constructive criticism.

40% bonus damage not useful to ? This is an in element adrenavamps. Can't be useful outside of due to elemental hate. Overdose implies some drawback: losing 1 HP is strong vs since the creatures are low health. Makes quite useful with Gargoyle. How does this interact with Adrenaline? 40% more attacks? Note Nightfall buffing . Nightfall isn't a good example of a card, elements doesn't need more like it. That last point is my opinion, feel free to disregard

Oh sorry, it's not really what I meant by that, the mixing those cards. I think I'll delete that sentence, not too useful.

EDIT TO CARD: Added a -2 HP per turn to nerf it a bit. -1 HP for upped card.

If you go with taking damage, remove the upkeep and only have the damage when an extra attack occurs. Unsure how much more expensive upped should be for going from -2HP to -1HP, -2HP is quite a bit (Essentially reserves for Gargoyle/Black Dragon)

I assume Devourers steal 2 quanta when they attack twice

The -2HP is to the global HP, to the 100HP you start with (unless you are an arena deck or Lvl4, or false god), not for the creature. Also, it is per turn and not per attack, because otherwise it would be a bad thing, not a good thing (that is, unless you had a massive army of high-attack creatures).
Regarding Devourers, you are correct. I hadn't thought about it but that is true.

I don't think the thematic of this card fits  :darknes ... I would say  but it already has Adrenaline

Bloodlust or Dying Breath might even work better as names, if it also reduced the health of your creatures each turn.

Would this card hurt the player or their creatures? If the player would it be per turn, or per creature that attacks? Sorry for the lack of an opinion, but I got confused to what actually takes the damage.

It hurts only the player (at the moment, unless you think that it would be better for it to harm the creatures) and once each turn, regardless of the number of attacks.

I think it fits darkness because caffeine prevents you from sleeping in some way... so during the night (the second attack) you would be "awake".

After having thought about it for some time, I think that as you have to pay  quanta to play this card, it is no longer necessary to have effect ONLY on  cards, so maybe it could have effect on ALL creatures instead, while still having to pay  the quanta to use Caffeine Overdose.
