ART: Petr Kratochvil, modified by coinich IDEA: coinich NOTES: Card's pretty simple.  It drains all ;I'm afraid it would be overpowered otherwise.  Simply adds purify counters, thus removing poison counters, from the player.  This was originally a card, but has enough healing.  I can't add another purify counter card to , because it already has Purify. I'd love to name it Caamora | Caamora, after the cleansing fire ritual in the Chronicles of Thomas Covenant, but I'm not sure on the usage rights or even the ethics of borrowing the word, as obscure as it is.  EDIT: vrt said its completely ok. Beatify would fit better.  I did wonder how you'd make it balanced, but the removal of all Light quanta helps in that regard, I think.  I'd keep cost at say, 2 Light and have counters = #/6 (#/5).  #/4 seems a bit too much for permanent healing.

I don't think we can tie in an effect to a permanent like that yet.  I'm not sure I'd want to, that sounds like the job of a shield.

Its not permanent, any form of poison reduces it.  Does the division have to be that high though?

I'd prefer to name the card Caamora | Caamora, after the cleansing fire ritual from The Chronicles of Thomas Covenant The Unbeliever.  Its an excellent series, and I think the ritual fits well here.  Giants would place themselves within fire to purify themselves of any sins, for lack of a better word.  It was usually done as a form of penance after committing violence, even in self defense.

The problem is that I don't know the ethics of borrowing a word such as that.  Is it any different than us using Muggle?  What about stealing the spelling of Dwarves from Tolkien?

It's not so much about ethics as it is about exposure. Copyright or no, notable works often slip into the public unconsciousness one way or another. I think you should use the name only if you think a good number of people would recognize it.
