Unupped is balanced or very close to balanced. The drain all :time and maybe even the discard hand effects are probably unnecessary.
Upgraded is harder to judge but might be balanced. (a cheaper version of the unupped would be easier)

I am surprised there are no previous cards of this design. Are you sure there are none in the Crucible, Forge or Armory?

Curse you, copypasta photobucket users...curse you..
Just wondering, vrt, how do you figure out that all these images are copyrighted? Do you do a google search? Do you have a program/add-on that can search for look-a-like pictures on the internet? Have you seen all these pictures before and just remember where you saw them? Are you God?

Yes didn't find any. Time leap is somewhat similar, but his focuses completely on draw, whereas mine is discard

Yeah I think it is ready for the crucible. It will be further refined in the crucible.

I would like to let you know, people have been uncomfortable with discard affects in the the past. This because there is no way to get those cards back. Forcing a card loss in this game has been determined to be taboo. Solution here I think would be to shuffle the card back into deck and draw that many cards.

Except that doesn't help the nightmare + GotP combo, which I was hoping this would and doesn't help stall decks. Forcing card loss in the past has been a no-no, but with GotP coming out I feel players will be more open to it, but if I get more feedback for your change I will do that. For now I'll just add a poll.

CURATOR COMMENT
-Read what vrt said. ^^; - You'll have to change the art, sadly...

Curse you, copypasta photobucket users...curse you..
...and -that's- why I'm finger-trigger ready to put a ban on all photobucket pictures from now on. It's hard to say who owns what from that site, and I'm tired of letting in card ideas that have stolen artwork from other well-known artists, games, or even applications that can't be used for any reason. :|

I'm unsure the unupped should drain all remaining  :time quanta :s
I feel the discarding of the hand is enough of a (potential) price for the benefits given...if drawing a card is worth about 2 :time (imo) then drawing 3 is, because it's 1 card, probably worth a little more than 6 :time, but the fact that you have to potentially sacrifice cards for it makes up for it costing only 5 :time (and if you manage to not discard cards, then it's still ok at 5 :time because it's situational).
That's just my thought

By the cost this is a valid argument, but the fact is when you are drawing a new 3 card hand you shouldn't be able to do this over and over again, and this should probably be the last move you make on the turn. Simply netting 3 cards in my opinion needs a major drawback, not just discarding. In most situations with this card you probably will only be discarding the last couple cards in your hand or cards you don't need immediately. The thing with precog is it's a 1 for 1 trade, this would be a 3 for 1 with some strings attached.

Same thing I said with emeraldtiger though, if more people support your idea compared to mine, I'll change it.
