NOTES:
Changed the name from Flash -> Borrowed time | Borrowed Time. Thanks Higs and Zblader. This can help with rush decks because it refills their hand even if it's currently empty. It can help stall decks because it allows them to push your opponent closer to decking out. It works with the new Gotp + Nightmare combo. <-- No longer applies

Edit* After not getting enough votes in the crucible I reworked the card. I removed both negative drawbacks and made the upgraded version shuffle back instead of discard. Vote in the new poll for balance issues. Resubmitting to crucible.

I'd say "Desperation" or "Borrowed Time" sounds like a good name.

IMO, this looks like that kind of card you'd want to play when you get a bad hand or have 1 or 2 useless cards you want to ditch.  The upped version would've normally made me go "huh?", but with the implmenting of GotP, it can become a deadly card when used correctly, as well as forcing a deck out on opponent's who rely on Eternity.

Both cards force you to try to and play it last in your turn - the unupped drains all time quanta, while the upped Silences you.  While the upped's drawback may seem a little odd, but when I consider the fact you save your time quanta, it makes sense.

Balanced, I suppose, as when compared to Precog you'll have a tendency to lose less, but it's useful in more situations than Precog.

One other thing - in the "Element" section of your table, change " :time" to the word "Time", the mark icons are used to only represent the cost in this table.

Added a poll, thanks for the feedback.

I like borrowed time, so that's what it will be for now. I feel like I should make them both have the same drawback, so do you like all the remaining time quanta consumed or the self-silence?

1. Put spaces in the thread name so it says "Burrowed Time | Deep Resolve" instead of "Burrowed Time|Deep Resolve"

2. Before you do #3, find the direct link to the image you used. Then, check for copyright issues.
Replace "google images" in the table with the person credited and include the direct link. Credit the person on the card, too.

3. Modify your first post so that it looks like this: (Note that all I did was put the image URL where you're supposed to put it...)

Mhmm, no problem. Just trying to help.
Btw, einstein's clock credits it to Sam Rohn and links it to his Flickr page. (http://www.flickr.com/photos/nylocations/360480954/)

The image itself is copyrighted, and so you need to contact Sam Rohn to obtain permission to use it, or find another picture.

CURATOR COMMENT
-Fix the discrepancy between the TEXT in the table and the unupped card image (it should state: "All remaining time quanta..." instead of "All remaining :time quanta", so that both match)

A nice concept, but the idea of being able to force a potential '8' card discard on the opponent for the upgraded version could create an excessive need for the upcoming Sanctuary card (the only card that protects your hand). I know that Ghost of the Past could work well with this (alongside Nightmare), and that this card could be perfect against Fractal-users and rushes in the early game, but I'm a bit worried on how these would affect the meta-game.

Silence vs. quanta drain for the different versions; interesting ways to balance your card idea. :)

Fixed the text.

Maybe to fix the potential hand wipe would be for the upgraded version to draw another card. So they would at most lose half of their hand. Another potential way to fix this would be to up the cost. Maybe make the upped version cost 7?

I feel like it should work well in the meta, but that is also considering the sanctuary effect.
