True.  I was thinking in more absolute terms.  Hitting a critter with Lightning is bad ("negative" ) for the critter, regardless of which player is controlling the critter.  Since this can happen to both players' critters, I assumed that's what you meant.

I agree that applying PU to the target player's creatures is bad for the target player and good for the casting player.  In addition, destroying the casting player's creatures is bad for the casting player and good for the target player.  In the case of Pandemonium, the "goodness" or "badness" of a particular effect depends entirely on the side of the board on which you're sitting. ;)

thats why upgrading it is so powerful.

Ah so! I don't have any upped Pandes yet. I had to look it up in the Wiki to see the difference. Yes, that's extremely powerful. ;)

if you are interested in making cards, I would advise that you read through the description of every card in the wiki. Understanding what cards can do what, whether standard or upgraded will help you balance your own ideas.

Exactly, you need to know whats out there, so that you can build your cards around them.  Other cards are usually a good measurement for whether something is underpowered or OP.  It also helps you determine costs of cards.
