Like the post above, this seems underpowered. Maybe block an artifact space along with a creature space, or block more than one creature space.
Agreed. Why not have it be a 'spell' instead, and have it generate three creatures with 0 attack, and an large amount of HP (and it can't be targeted)? You'll be blocking more spaces much more easily, and the only way to remove them is by Flooding (water eroding the blocks). That way, playing these cards as 'spells' will cause a major amount of frustration to the enemy player, not to mention it increases the synergy between  :water:earth;)

Otherwise, I hope you're listening to our suggestions/queries. It's an unusual idea, but I kind of like it.

A sleeping giant creature that is immortal, has 0/20, and comes into play on your opponents side, could be fun.

Agreed. Could put a serious damper on FFQ decks.

Not that much. It blocks a single slot, and there are many creature slots.

This seems interesting to me.  Perhaps it could block the three left-most slots in each row, this way it wouldn't be too good with flooding (in case you played it early enough to block three middle row slots).  If one of those slots is already taken up, then that block is just not created.

That's a good idea for simple programming, but the problem is if you have multiples of these cards (say 6). What would happen if you managed to get all 3-left-most slots in each row blocked? The other duplicates become useless then, unless you play Flooding (which wouldn't do anything since the middle row will only have a maximum of 3 blocked slots). Of course, I realized that your 'blocks' won't die if they're immortal, so it'd be best if Blockage | Barrier creating 0/20 creatures that can't be immortalized. So you might need to make another creature card to combine with this. ^^;

Personally, I think it'd be better if it was simply random - that way, both the enemy and the player playing this have equal chances of screwing or getting screwed over when it comes to playing vital creatures in 'safe zones' that aren't immortalized.

I think it should be made into a creature, and that it's placed on your opponents side of the field.  Perhaps give it 0|5 for stats; and I think it would be best if it weren't randomly placed, but just placed in the next availible slot.  though the only usage i find for it is Earth/Water synergy with Flood/Inundation.

This is a great idea, but as many people have said, the card is underpowered and it should be changed to make it more effective. The concept to block creature slots is already used by Aflatoxin, which overshadows this card.

There are many ways to buff this card. It could block the first unused creature slot, so it has synergy with Flooding. If used early in the game, this card could lock down your opponent with Flooding or severely interrupt their strategy. This card is much cheaper and more affective than Aflatoxin, so in the above situation it is much better than Aflatoxin.

Another way to make this card more effective is to select multiple, random creature slots that are blocked. If it blocked three random creature slots, it has the potential to be much more effective if you run six in a deck. It would be cheaper than Aflatoxin, and it would require less quanta to upkeep than Flooding.

Both of the above ideas utilize the cheap cost of this card. While the effect is overshadowed by Aflatoxin and Flooding, the 2/1 quanta cost makes this a candidate for fast lockdown. A deck with a combination of this card and the aforementioned cards would create new strategies to complete control the opponent’s field. A poison deck with Aflatoxin, Blockage, and Enchant Artifact could lock down the opponent fast while the poison kills them off. A deck with Flooding, Blockage, and Trident could stop the opponent from playing creatures, and then destroying pillars to make it a complete lockdown.
