Me thinks upgraded = overpowered. 1 less cost for the card itself, AND 1 more attack per bee?
Upped form should be 6  :life as well, but that's just my opinion...

I think you're right. I was first using the cost of Flooding for the card but the idea has more similarities with Firefly Queen. I increase the cost from the Killerbee Nest to 6 :life.

Instead of "removing it from play", you could reduce it to 0/1. Doesn't really fit with the concept of a bee that dies after stinging, but it could be one of the bees that just losses it's stinger. (Wait, there are some bees like that, right? >_<).

I learned that every Bee dies after stinging as the European Honey Bee is the most common and EHB does die everytime after stinging.
The problem with the attack reducing is that you need a different way to remove the Bees from your field or you will have a field full of 0|1 Bees. It would decrease the usefulness when you need an additional Oty or Fallen Druid.
