Guardian/Archangels heal the rays but take damage in the process.

It's like you have an angel and ray on your side:
Angel: I heal you!
Ray: I hurt you!
Angel: That's my payback for giving you life? *slaps ray*
Ray: I kill you!

LOL. Okay, jokes aside, I think this is a very good idea, but it seems a little OP. I would lower the attack to 4 on both. That's just me though

There may also be future cards and mechanics that could build on this.  If basilisk blood is used all the better as I like  combos.

Imagine a mutant Ray with Growth, that would be a pain in the butt.

ddevans96, the attack is high because the ability is weak. The high attack makes it a little more practical in terms of actually being worthwhile in a deck. That is the current thinking.
