1: What do you mean, 'random'?
2: You seem to have misunderstood. both cards generate a PHOTON, not a RoL, which means a simple (non-bonewall) shield can stop the enemy dead, at the same time it blocks a creature slot on the opponent's field.
3: If you read the other replies, you'll notice that only the upgraded had the third effect, which i used as a way to make people actually want to upgrade the card, not a pillar.
Also, if you have any suggestions that could fit the theme of Smiting, i'd like to hear it very much.
In this case, i used smite as to banish a creature, and rebirth it as a photon. Read item 3 for the third effect.
