Attack: 2|4 (value 2|4)
HP: 1|1 (value 0|0)
N lives: 2|4 (value 1|2?)
Attack buffs give extra lives (value 1|1?)

Upgrade (cost 0|-2)

Total: 4|5 :water
Errr, I guess 2/4 lives can't just cost 1/2 quanta, and that must be multiplied somehow with the "attack gives extra buff" thing, because it's too much
Right now the card is simply OP, you bless it and you have a 5/4 or 7/4 creature that you have to kill 5/7 times, with any CC that makes 4 or more damage... Seems a bit OP.
I strongly believe that it must revive the next turn anyways, AT LEAST, that plus upping the cost.
So should each extra life cost 1 quanta? 2 quanta?

Attack buffs giving extra lives would be based of blessing
each Blessing costs 3 :light +duo cost modifier[1]
The value gained is +3attack (3) +3extra lives (N) +3HP (0)

Should each Jellyfish be balanced on the assumption of 1 blessing/chaos power?

Well, it should be based on every single buff card available, so it's kind of complicated... But I guess that it will (or should) give a huge number of quanta, since every buff is multiplied by the value of having extra lives and more hp.

Would it respawn the turn its killed or would it wait a turn before attacking.

And i have a splitting based idea that would help the players WITH the card- i really dont think opponents will even try to kill a 4/1 card.

A modification could be make the card 5/1 with same 3 quanta cost. Use cc on it and it splits into 2 3/1 cards when those are attcked they split into 2 2/1 cards, you get my point!

The last thing this card needs is more attack... Just make it 3/1 and split.
Maybe make that uneven attack numbers kill this card or some FTW mechanic in that direction, like "split in two instead of dying (half of the attack, rounded up/down), if the attack of Jellyfish is uneven, it'll die...

Thanks so much for the input guys, and I'm liking this new direction.  I think what I'm gonna do is make it to where it splits into two creatures every time it is killed with half the attack (rounding down) sooo;

unupped;

costs 5 :water
3|1
killed;
two jellyfish 1|1, 1|1
killed;
dead

upped;

costs 6 :water
4|1
killed;
two jellyfish 2|1, 2|1
killed;
four jellyfish 1|1, 1|1, 1|1, 1|1
killed;
dead

Now lets say you bless an unupped Jellyfish;

6|4
killed;
3|1, 3|1
killed;
1|1, 1|1, 1|1, 1|1
killed;
dead

_____

I'll do this later on today, thanks for the mechanic suggestion, I'll add your two names to the list of creators later.

I think splitting is a good idea that is easier to balance. I would also recommend the HP split.

When X|Y with splitting dies it becomes 2 X/2|Y/2s (X/2 and Y/2 are rounded down)

So
4|4 -> 2 2|2s -> 4 1|1s
7|7 -> 2 3|3s -> 4 1|1s

Then the unupped can start at 2|2 and the upgraded start at 4|4

Unupped
2|2 requires 3CC to kill
2 (2attack) +0 (0<HP<6) +2 (3CC to kill) =4

Upgraded
4|4 requires 7CC to kill
4 (4attack) +0 (0<HP<6) +6 (7CC to kill) -2 (upgraded) =8

I like the idea of spliting, but I'd prefer the upgraded to be 3/3, and keep the cost

Also I could realise that spliting the hp rounded down will lead to make 0hp creatures, so add in the Notes that the low cap for hp is 0 :D

CURATOR COMMENT
-Fix the NAME in the table to match the card image (It should read "Jellyfish" instead of "Giant Jellyfish" in the picture) - also fix the title to undo the name discrepancy.

Your idea shares a slight resemblance to the Flat Worm | Planaria (http://elementscommunity.org/forum/index.php/topic,5317.0.html) idea from long ago (except this creature focuses on Attack rather than HP when it splits). I don't have any idea on what else to really name it, but it works either way despite Chrysaora and Physilia being names taken for the 'Jellyfish' species in Water.

Side note: if you can, give a link to the page where the art is specifically located. Thanks. :)
