but I think Maxwell's Demon would be a much deadlier combo.

Anyways with Antimatter;

15 :entropy and a minimum of 2 turns for an instant kill.

Shockwave + Freeze;

2 :air + 1 :water minimum of 1 turn for an instant kill.

Even when considering the duo element required, it is still more efficient.

Buut the difference is that this is a mass switch.  So pick your battles.  It can be good if all your guy has is a bunch of Ruby Dragons.

Buut it can be a tough call, if say, the enemy has a two Ruby Dragons and a Armagio (just for comparison sakes).

Hmm mass switch too powerful? Weak as a shield?

mass switch is very good but would be used ~once.
Maybe mass switch every attack or a % chance of switch?

I still prefer your mage ~500% more

I agree with Oldtrees. I think the shield would work a lot more awesomely if it was just "Attacking creatures have their attack and HP switched."

Excellent idea guys, I think "attacking creatures are effected" is a much better solution :) OT I'll add you to the list of creators as soon as I get this thing changed.

lol @OldTrees 500% is that the exact calculated value of how much more you like the Mage?

Another interesting thing with the shield effect is that now antimatter isn't instant kill...

Although, chances are, you'd rather having something AMed than dead.

So when you say it affects all creatures on the field, does that include creatures with momentum? It seems to me that a shield shouldn't effect a creature with momentum.
