hmm yeah that is much... i could limit it to opponents targeting only to make it a pseudo-quint but thats a bit too weak... how about limiting it to "damaged" instead of targeted?
Well, there are a large number of different spells that can affect it. The question is, will it be too powerful to do so or not?
Essentially, the growth ability adds +2|+2 on top of any buff.
Now getting that +2|+2 still requires expending spells, so there will be a limit on how high this can grow...
The second question to answer is, will the growth still absorb

when it triggers... and if it can't will it happen anyway or be prevented.
I think as long as its still draining

each time, it might not be too bad.
Perhaps a more in depth analysis would be good before making any decisions one way or another.
I was simply pointing out that the auto-trigger on growth due to spell targetting is quite novel so it is worth discussing in more detail.
