Kael Hate, Zanzarino has made a point of mentioning in chat that targeting wasn't the right word to use for Immaterial/Burrowing -- but until he clarifies it on the cards, I guess we're kind of stuck with what we've got. 


avidteen13, it would (as mentioned above) nullify damage from Eagle's Eye, Fire Shield, Thorn Carapace, Unstable Gas, Fire Storm, Plague, Virus, Bloodsucker, and Toadfish.


Terroking, that would be OP in my opinion, because it's basically like Momentum plus the better part of Quintessence -- if the enemy doesn't have a spell that targets your creatures, he's screwed.  That's a bit beyond where I want this to go.

The only real difference is that it can't be killed by Devour or Paradox, honestly.

That's a fairly big buff, but not all that huge, and keeping them away from otys is probably ok, and it it fits with the theme of the card as well.

They also wouldn't be able to get frozen by Squids, healed by Angels, mutated by Druids (kind of a big deal), returned by Eternity, or immortalized by Anubis (also kind of a big deal) -- not to mention the whole "ignores shields" thing.

I prefer it the way it is.

I like it a lot, just not the upgraded version's name.  Time Ninjas seem kind of corny...

Yeah, I feel kind of the same way. I don't have a problem with ninjas, but I have a problem with cards that are called "ninja" but don't do any "ninja things" like stealth, martial arts, or combos.

Calling a card "ninja" without any reason is a cheap solution to naming. "Hmm.. how could I make this idea sound cooler? Hey, I know! I'll call it a ninja!".

I liked the art, and it seemed ninja-y.  I honestly would solve it by changing the first card to "Anachron Shinobi".  ;p

The art does seem ninja-y because of the weapons it's wielding, but that doesn't stop it from being corny.

It is ninja-y because it is immune to damage and poison.  It is too 1337 to let n00b parasites poison it.  I support the name 'Anachron Ninja'.

If it is immune to damage but dies if targeted by a spell, what difference does the hp make?

How much does the image cost?  If it's clear that this card is going to be in the game, we could pay for it through donations.

The HP prevents it from being Devoured, essentially.

And I doubt this card will ever make it into the game, though I'd love to see it.

Ninjas are not some "Chuck Norris creatures" that can do anything. In games, ninjas are usually high damage, low defense creatures with a stealth ability.

making a creatures immune to damage and poison just because they are ninjas, is just silly.

Why not given them the ability to fly and read minds also? They are ninjas after all.
