Expensive. Lowering the fear chance is a bad idea. 10% isn't really that much of a difference either. Out of every ten times a creature hits me or one out of every ten creatures that hit me, that hit is nullified. Eh. Not that powerful to start with.
But this is a very good effect in my opinion. I will say that if this were to be buffed to 15%, I could see this working in a lot of decks. The only thing that is holding this card back is the cost of the card itself, and the cost of the card to cloak itself.
Why does this card cost 3
to simply cloak itself for one turn? I don't really see the purpose in cloaking this card either. The skill it has while uncloaked is much better then cloaking it. Then again, the stats of the creature are 6 | 1, so I guess cloaking does have its uses.
The cost of cloaking irks me in so many ways however. If I wanted to protect all
six of my vigilantes (42/36
by the way) from a mass CC that I suspect the opponent of having, I'd have to pay 18
, and on top of that, the primary skill of this creature does not activate. Ouch.
And I emphasize six because 10% isn't really that big a deal to stopping the opponents from attacking. 6 would prove to yield 60%, which is just as formidable as Dusk Mantle.
Well I wouldn't get to summon Dusk Mantle anyways since this creature is an absolute quanta hog. I guess I've gone off on a tangent here.
TL;DR Version:
- Cost of cloaking creatures is too high. Lower it to one or two.
- Creature is expensive and in addition to the expenses, the skill has to be stacked to have much of an effect. Buff the primary skill.
- Lower the attack by one and raise the health by two.
