| NOTES: | This is pretty complicated, probably too complicated. Let's see.
Based on the number of the same creature in play, your :life creatures gain specific buffs. When you mouse over a creature while Alliance is in play, the text under "thematics" corresponding with the number of creatures will be displayed underneath its status chart. Buffs are cumulative and are lost when the number of creatures reduces. Here is a chart describing the buff gained in relation to the number of the same type of creature for Alliance:
Number of Creatures - Thematics - Buff Gained
2 - Your creatures have learned to watch each others' backs, gaining increased defense. - +0/+1. 3 - Your creatures have formed a hunting pack, becoming more ferocious. - +1/+0. 4 - Your creatures have mapped out the surrounding area, gaining the ability to flee from incoming attacks. - Any attack on this type of creature has a 20% chance to be negated. 6 - Your creatures have found a place to call home, and can now run to its safety whenever they are not in combat. - Any creature of this type that is delayed, frozen, or dealing less than one damage cannot be targeted by the enemy. 7 - Your creatures have chosen a leader, who now has the ability to send your creatures into combat against enemy forces. - One random creature of this type gains the ability " :life :life : Focus Fire -- All attacks by the creature type that applied this status are redirected to the target enemy creature." 9 - Your creatures have discovered flight, and are ready to take to the skies. - All creatures of this type gain +1/+1 and Airborne. 11 - Your creatures have formed a religious sect and may now convert other allied creatures to this creature type. - Two random creatures of this type gain the skill " :life :life :life : Missionary -- The target allied creature becomes the same type as the user." 17 - Your creatures are now occupying the majority of your half of the universe and have appointed a military. They may now choose when to attack and decide to sacrifice themselves for the greater good. - One random creature of this type gains the skill " :life :life : Tactical Sacrifice -- The target allied creature of this type is killed, and the owner gains health equal to the sum of sacrificed creature's health, attack, and casting cost. Another random creature gains the skill " :life :life : Halt -- The target allied creature is delayed for one turn. Repeatable." Both creatures that gain skills also gain +1/+3.
Note: When a creature type reaches a stage of civilization where it gains a governmental leader, the creature that gains a skill will not be a creature that already has received a skill from Alliance. The only difference between Alliance and Organization is that all creature types are counted to have one extra creature when Organization is in play. Alliance and Organization do not stack in any way. A creature that loses a governmental skill because the population has declined will not regain its previous skill. A creature can die as a result of losing a stage of civilization that grants a HP buff.
