It's a bit imbalanced against false gods. You would be able to make a powerful anti FG deck with quinted elite alchemists. The quanta flow wouldn't be as bad as you'd expect a trio to be because you could use  :aether mark,  :time towers and cremations. Much easier to pull off than nymphomania I imagine.

Overpowered.
And time isn't about instant killing, is it?  :-X

I don't get this card at all. How does an alchemist 'remove'/kill a creature in play, or better yet, how is an 'Alchemist' a direct element variant of  :time?

It would be like reversing time, but instead of the creature you get the quanta I'm assuming?
This certainly costs more, but I'm not sure that its a fair card.

If hypothetically, your deck were the spells/summoning spells in your mind, wouldn't this card be better if it used Rewind and gave quanta instead?

I agree with others that instant death is a no-no.

the thing that imbalances this card is that people can only have some many copies of the same cad in their deck. if they  use them all up, then the quanta is useless. Would be fine otherwise.

Creature to quanta value isn't a two way street.

Well, Alchemy is about property balance and distribution. You cannot make with what you dont have. So try this:

Alchemist - 8 :time
Creature 0|2
Ability:
Alchemy,  :fire :fire :fire
Destroy the target creature, return its quantum to the owner of the card, and generate another random card from the card's element to the owners hand.

That would be more balanced, and sort of like mutation in a way.
You mutate a photon, it could become a dragon.
You mutate a dragon, it could become a photon.
Same case here,
You alchemy an enemy photon, they could receive a light dragon.
You alchemy an enemy light dragon, they could receive a photon and 12 light quantums.

That balances it out, and makes the term 'Alchemy' fit better with this card.
