I steal the perm, and then I can place the caltrops.

People seemed to like the stackable idea but it would be rather deadly. However it would easily be overcome by just playing a week creature first then a strong creature.

Caltrops can only be placed in empty slots so if you get a creature there first it wont matter...

What do you think about stacking? I would love to make the perms stack if you stack but be affected by earthquake...

Thoughts?

PS airborne is not effected. That means all dragons and a bunch of other various and great cards are immune.
I think EQ should not effect it.  I would like it to be stackable, but it may be too OP.  Having Airborne creatures immune to it, I don't think it will be.

If Airborne creatures are immune then stackable is not OP. Altho if a dragon in on a stacked space then you use Web on it would be a nice way to do indriect damage to it.

Okay so should you be able to stack them on the same creature slot or NO? Remember airborne creatures (dragons and plenty of other creatures) are immune.

Of course as Dramore said, caltrops would give web another very real use, which is great.

I think Caltrops should be stackable, not be able to played to occupied spots, and can only be targeted by Explosion or Steal (no Earthquake).  It definetly isn't OP especially if you can get a quinted creature out or if you can get a creature into the first few slots quickly.

Alright I am in agreement. I think I will add that to the notes and submit to crucible.

Okay one last question before submission. If I play 6 caltrops in 1 creature slot, should the permanents stack?

If the permanents stack and I explode them, should it only explode 1 caltrops from the stack?

Yes they should stack.  Only one should be effected at a time.
