So you can have more than 1 creature in each rift?
If this is the case, what happens if the user tries to play a creature due to seeing open creature slots when he has 23 creatures on the field already? Would you have a different 'rift' message display or display the current message for having filled all the creature slots?
You can only have 1 creature in a given rift. The rift is just a single slot field effect.
You can, however, have multiple rifts open at once.
Nice card. It seems a bit problematic on two points for me:
- why does the effect lasts only for two turns? It is way less strong than a SoP, even if the setup is different.
- why can it target Immaterial creatures to move them? (I don't like that ^^. Immaterial = untargettable) they gain the bonus, this is enough imo.
The duration of each rift needs to be non-permanent in order to maintain its utility as a field movement mechanic.
The duration doesn't need to be 2 turns though. I can certainly increase it.
As for immaterial creatures, if anything I'd rather be able to move them and take away the bonus if you think doing both is too much.
The main point of this card is moving creatures around the field. The bonus stats is really just a secondary effect to help add some utility since there is little point in just moving creatures around the field currently (aside from flooding anyway)
