Use it to your advantage" Another in a long line of attempts at novel general purpose quanta generation cards. The goal is to help ease the difficulties of creating multi-color decks that fall somewhere between mono / duo decks and rainbow decks. The effect should be fairly obvious, The player casts this and then picks a hand or deck (theirs or their opponent's). A random card is picked and 2 quanta of that cards element get added to the caster's pool. This card will return to its owner's hand the following turn. This is to help make it into a useful form of quanta production. (I.e. trade off 1 card slot from your hand in exchange for a little extra quanta production and versatility) If your hand does not have any free slots next turn, then this card is simply lost like any other spell. I like the versatility of this card, and I feel like it's balanced except for one thing:
This card will return to its owner's hand the following turn. I feel like this may be too strong whenn facing deck out. It can obviously be stopped with silence, but that's only one hard counter, like purify to sosac. stall decks will no longer need RT/Eternity, and could just use this. Other than that, I like it.

This does not prevent deckout, since it does not go into your deck. You would still draw a card in addition to receiving this card back.

Yes, exactly. That reminds me, ff there is no room, the spell is just used up like any other spell. So no deckout protection.

So do you choose whether to target your deck or your opponent's deck? Do you choose whether to target the hand or the deck?

Do other copies of this card count? Cos it might be a bit of a pain if you keep generating when you're only using this card for quanta.

Would cards be skipped completely? What if you have only cards left? Also, what if this is your last card?

Sorry for killing you with questions. I think being able to chose between yours and your opponent's decks is a tad useless. Only in a few situations are you going to want their quanta over yours. But I would definitely pack some of these if I had room.

The name seems a bit too... jargon-y. Just a thought

I would say that other copies of this probably should count... although I see the point about that causing quanta production issues. As you cast each one though, the chance of producing quanta of other card types will steadily rise, however.

As for targeting, you will be allowed to target your own deck, your own hand, your opponent's deck, or you opponent's hand.

The uses for targeting the opponent's hand or deck are indeed limited, but its a small amount of extra wording to allow a very nice nightmare combos. Especially for the upgraded version, which could be easily put into GoTP-mares

Lastly,  would not be skipped. It would result in 2 randomly selected quanta being produced.

Jargony... I guess the "Aetheric / Astral" part could always be dropped if its really an issue.
