ART: Art taken from: Free Art for Card Ideas IDEA: OdinVanguard NOTES: -Lethe and Hypomnesia both mean "A chronic inability to remember things" I actually built this card around the picture from the free art topic. The idea is to give players another way to make use of nightmare or other hand clogging effects. The mechanic is essentially to trigger the end of turn discard effect with fewer than 8 cards. E.g. with 1 of these, both players discard if they have either 7 or 8 cards. Then, whenever either player discards, this cards owner gets quanta (to power nightmare perhaps?) Regardless of how many excess cards a player has, only 1 card will be discarded per turn (this was already put in by Zanz I think, but is here for clarity) The effects of this card stack, so with 6 of these players will only be able to safely hold a single card each round or face discarding. It will also produce tremendous amounts of quanta… an alternative to devourers. I am open to interchanging the elements if players would rather see this the opposite way around (Darkness card that produces aether quanta) SERIES:

this card is crazy creative. IMO a player should only ever have to discard one card per turn, even if 6 of these are out. that would make it not ridiculously OP in ghosmare.

Thats actually what I was aiming for. I believe Zanz has set it so that players only discard a maximum of 1 card per turn. Thats part of what gave me the idea for this. Essentially, this just means they keep discarding 1 card every turn.

In the Cost section make sure to write the quanta costs with the symbol of the quanta cost, not the word. If Phoenix costs 7 Fire to play, in the table it should appear as 7 .

do you mean increase the discard threshold as in to make it so you have to discard earlier? I guess it's just how you read it. it's kinda expensive for not that much benefit imo.

Can someone combine this card with fractal in order to fill his/her hand with cards in order to discard them on purpose and gain the quanta? Just posting an idea.
Anyway, I think this card can cost 1 or 2 less. Other than that, awesome idea. Odin Vanguard is officialy now my faved card designer. 8)

Yes, thats the idea. You would use it with fractal or nightmare to gain a little each round.

Yes, thats basically right. So with 2 of these out players would discard anytime they had 6 or more cards in hand.
With all 6 out, players would discard anytime they had 2 or more cards.
... if there somehow ever got to be 8 or more out, players would discard every turn... They would also gain a good chunk of for it as well.

I will work on modifying this to have a lower cost in a bit, once this round of brawl ends.
