Kracken - one of the best ideas I've seen in a while :)
Great card, high life and damage, beastly powerful when upgraded, has a fantastic ability (although at least 1 :water it should cost) utilises flood to make it not OP, brilliant :)

Kraken is kind of interesting, but you need to have seven other creatures out AND play flooding to play the creature, plus the Kraken is vulnerable to permanent control.  Unless you face a water opponent or run water/death (which is already viable as a poison deck), the ability is worthless.  I'd rather use an ice dragon any day.

exactly, vulnerable to both creature and prem control if measures aren't take, mayking it nicely balanced

"Kraken dies instantly if not underwater".  The top and bottom rows are the only ones that can be flooded, hence you have to have 7 creatures on the board (in the first 7 spots) to play Kraken.

okay, fair, didn't cross my mind >_<
maybe photon/kracken/flood rush? still mono but with mark  :earth can have PA in there.... then you have good CC and damage, or have RoL and hope too --- this has potential!!
6 RoL with 2 Hope
2 Floods with 2 PA
6 kracken with 12 Water towers?
mark of earth

gets shut down by gravity shield pretty much and is vulnerable to CC but it can be improved (I suck at deck building lol) maybe add in some crawlers or something

There are better  :water :earth decks out there, Trident comes to mind.  Still, I'd rather not have a condition on playing a major creature like this, and Ice Dragon does the same damage for much less setup, not to mention is harder to control.

I just see it as way too situational.  There's way more of a place for Seahorse and Water Beast.
