 Seriously though, don't promote 2 ideas together because the votes are going to be spreaded among them and none of these ideas is going to reach the next stage this way. In my opinion, just promote Fae | Alfar, which is much more famous and much more :life-centered (and because I've voted for it too! ;D ). Its idea of lowering its cost according to the amount of Pillars/Pendulums is just awesome! :D

What i don't like with Fae | Alfar is that :life already has plenty of cost-efficient creatures (Frogs, Cockatrices), and can generate :life quanta fast (Rustler) so i have a hard time seeing what this card could possibly bring to Life that Life doesn't already have...

 Life hasn't any creature with atk between 5 and 10, so Fae|Alfar is a worthy new choice for it. Furthermore, its cost reduction according to your pillars is a fine addition to the already existing mechanics. :)

Both of these points are true but for example, reducing the cost of a card based on your pillars is redundant, since pillars are there specifically to make you able to pay said cost. I'd rather have a really innovating mechanism like the one on Forest Monster or Pack Tactics (which are the cards i'm supporting btw, vote them up people!). Because that way :life gets something that really modifies the game, like Permanent protection or CC, respectively.

Reduction of cost based on pillars is not redundant IMHO because it accelerates the speed at which the card is played, setting up for cards like Fractal that would naturally take advantage of the low cost. In addition, Life lacks a useful midhitter (like GoTP or Pufferfish) that can resist CC overall - the introduction of this card would allow Life to set up better rushes that could rely on this bring out heavier damage than Frogs if needed.

I don't play :life so i don't feel so concerned about this really, but i do face a bunch of them in pvp or AI. If i were to play :life one day, i'd rather have a way to get rid of that bloody Gravity Nymph/Fallen Elf or a way to stop that SoFo/Pulverizer from freely destroying my Druid Staff or Empathic Bonds, than extra speed. :life needs PC of some sort aswell, i just find it ridiculous how Dim Shield stall or sometimes Skull Buckler/Firewall/Permafrost/Diamond shield can completely shutdown any mono-life deck (part of why i wouldn't play mono-life ever).

Not saying Fae wouldn't be fun and good to have, but since not so many cards make it to the game, i wouldn't prioritize it. Just my two cents, i've said pretty much all i had to say on this topic.

Let me tell my opinion about a few things:
1) Mono- :life has such quanta production and such low-cost creatures than I dare to say it is one of the least threated decks from Gravity Nymphs or Black Holes.
2) Fallen Elf isn't really powerful against mono- :life. The 2 most used creatures in :life are Horned Frog|Giant Frog and Cockatrice|Elite Cockatrice; these are both vanilla and upgraded have the same atk stats with Abomination, so Mutation is likely not to hurt them at all. Also, I think Mutation doesn't remove Adrenaline or Momentum from a creature, so even Adrenalined Horned Frogs usually don't have a problem by being mutated.
3) PC can be annoying, but not more than any other element. Furthermore, :life creatures are often cheap enough to be playable even after a SoF destroys your Pillars/Pendulums and Emerald Shield | Jade Shield is indestrcuctible, so there are ways to withstand some PC with mono- :life.
4) Shields of all kinds usually ruin a mono- :life rush, so I agree this is one of the greatest weaknesses of that element.
