Hello,
Okay, so one of my ideas is up there now so my objectivity may be a little strained but I'm gonna try to do this again.
Basically I'm just going through some of the ideas I didn't vote for and explaining why. The idea is to help people identify why their cards aren't doing better.
Broodmother: I'm not sure why this is a
card. It seems like it would fit better in
. Also, I'm not sure how I feel about implied dragon sex . . . it seems a little weird to have in a card game.
Confusion: I honestly really, really like this idea. It's a good idea and it fits perfectly in with
, but . . .
already has
so much creature control I feel like this would just end up redundant. I feel kinda like a bad person for not voting for it though.
Entropic Rush: 90% of the time this is just objectively better than putting in a pillar that matches your mark. Particularly in a mono
rush deck. I feel like that deck is already really strong.
Chaos Balance: Seems a little weak compared to Fate Egg, and you'd end up shooting yourself in the foot with this a lot.
Equilibrium: This does fit the scientific definition of entropy, but it seems a little to exploitable, especially versus false gods. I know it works by % hp not total, but if you at 50 hp and the FG is at 200, this one card could heal you 25 hp and deal 100 damage in one fell swoop.*edit: I has a math dumb. This card balances pretty well with Miracle.
Pulsar: I think I may be misinterpreting this card, so please correct me if I'm wrong, but it seems that in any deck but a rainbow this would almost always give you quanta in an element you weren't using. While rainbows are nice (I actually play one at the moment) I don't think rainbows need more quanta sources.
Biohazard: The upgrade is OP, the unupped is UP.
Starting with the unupped version: mutation for creature control is a sometimes food. And you certainly don't want to keep mutating the abominations after you've mutated them, or else you'll end up with a 15/12 golden dragon who destroys permanents smiling at you. Would backfire more often than not.
Now the upped version: I'm pretty sure everyone here could design an OP deck around this. Just swarm any cheap creature you want, play this and then you've won. Not only does it improve all your creatures, but it also gets rid of your opponents shield, even an immaterial shield.
Dragons Den: A little to easy to do a "dragon rush" with this and supernova. I'm also not sure why this is a
card
