I support Stone Totem because it adds a new implementation mechanic. Adding an implementation mechanic has a much larger effect than adding a basic effect.

 Dear OldTrees, in my opinion Orochi's 0:Appease, Shield of Earth's endowing power and Geyser's ability to flood the middle slots are pretty new abilities and more interesting than Stone Totem's one.

 Dear OldTrees, IMO a "new effect" or a "new type of effect" in Stone Totem's case means basically the same thing. Buffing creatures by +2|+2 is not a new effect, so buffing adjactent creatures by +2|+2 is a new effect but NOT a new type of effect. On the other hand, Orochi's ability to attack its own master if not Appeased IS a new TYPE of effect, since the closest thing to this is Liquid Shadow & Antimatter combo but still much different from it. Shield of Earth is similar to Crusader's Endow, but even so it endows a Shield instead of a Weapon so it is a new effect, though not completely a new type of effect. Finally, Geyser's ability to flood central squares is definitely not a new type of effect (Flooding already exists), but it is a new effect because Flooding an Geyser work in a different way.  8)

Creatures can already attack their master. Creatures can already consume others. Neither is a new type of effect. An aura is a new type of effect even though the +2|+2 is not new. Perhaps you might understand if I called it a new genre of effect. Just in case I will go more in depth.

Consider the 2 effects:
"Every turn a random enemy creature is infected"
"0: Toxic Gas: A random enemy creature is infected"
The basic effect does not differ. The implementation has. Each basic effect has one or more tiers of implementation effects. Adding a new type of implementation effect has a much larger effect than adding a basic effect.

1) False; there is currently no creature in this game that attacks its master directly and without any support from other cards. Psions and SoW Immortals attack their master if they encounter an Emerald Shield, but this require a combo to be achieved. Liquid Shadow & Antimatter on a creature makes it to attack its master and heal its opponent, but still requires a combo. Keep also in mind that your shield affects Orochi if it attacks you.

2) True; however, the devouring mechanic of Otyugh and Scarabs increase their hp by 1 for every consumed creature, while Orochi stats remain unchanged. However, sacrificial effects similar to Orochi's exist via Immolation or Virus|Retrovirus, that sacrifices itself to poison enemy creatures.

3) I totally agree here, but for me it doesn't really interest me a buffing aura as a new kind of effect.

4) The basic effect does not differ, however in the second case it is likely an active ability which can be lobotomised, while in the first case it seems like a passive ability and can't be lobotomised. So, I agree here with you of different implementation, but as I said above, I just don't find the buffing aura interesting enough to vote for it...

1) You have a different criteria for New than I do.

4) I find the suggestion of adding auras worth voting for.  I find that suggestion more valuable than the suggestion to add a high attack creature restrained by a consumption upkeep cost. The primary reason being adding a new implementation mechanic has broader reaching effects than adding a basic effect.
4.1) Side note: The difference was even more subtle. Both abilities were vulnerable to lobotomy. One was automatic while the other was manually triggered. The automatic one also would happen on the turn it was played.

Most of them look good But 3 of them dont seem fit.

I don't really like quanta worm because they made burrowed creatures supposed to be unnable to be attacked. They even have to sacrafice some of their attack for it.

Next is the despoiler it seems like  a pointless card for me when you can just use cloak.

last I think geyser would be over powered. Most of the creatures are in the middle so it would just kill all of them. I think flood is good enough on the outsides  ;D

Most of them look good But 3 of them dont seem fit.

I don't really like quanta worm because they made burrowed creatures supposed to be unnable to be attacked. They even have to sacrafice some of their attack for it.


true, but i figured it should have a workaround. the worm is meant to counter and kill devourers as its primary purpose, so attacking the burrowed ones or forcing them to stay vulnerable to spells seemed like a good idea.
